Company History After working for Kelly Services for over eight years, Carol Harris felt confident enough in her own ability to consider the possibility of opening her own staffing service. Armed with her knowledge of the staffing industry, Carol opened the doors of what was to become one of the most successful staffing services in the area. After her first two years in business, Carol decided that the time was right to expand. She selected New Kensington as the site for her second office. In 1997, a third office, which is located in Youngwood, PA, was added. Our Delmont branch was opened in 2002 as the fourth location. Lastly, in 2005, our Butler branch was opened. By taking the time to personally understand each client's specific needs, our experienced staff is privileged to serve a client base that ranges from small private firms to Fortune 500 organizations. Carol Harris Staffing has been a success due to the high standards and ethics of its owner. This exciting award pays respect to the most dynamic women in business today who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and service to the community.  Pennsylvania Business Central’s Top 100 People - Carol Harris Carol Harris has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania Business Central’s Top 100 People for her outstanding volunteer work and exceptional community involvement in addition to her significant business success.  #1 Women Owned Business by number of employees in Westmoreland County in 2006 - Recognized by the Pennsylvania Business Central Carol Harris Staffing, LLC was recognized as the number one women owned business in Westmoreland County for 2006 by the number of employees working for Carol Harris Staffing, LLC.  Oprah’s Angel Network Award – Carol Harris Staffing, LLC Carol Harris Staffing, LLC earned Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network Crystal Globe Award in recognition of Carol’s outstanding volunteer efforts with the Habitat for Humanity organization. Carol Harris and her company made a commitment to Habitat for Humanity by donating $60,000 to build a home in Braddock, Pennsylvania. This project was personally recognized by Oprah Winfrey as an example of the remarkable generosity which she hoped to encourage with the founding of the Angel Network. Carol’s commitment to community involvement through the Habitat organization extends well beyond this generous donation. Not only did Carol provide the monetary support for this endeavor, but she and her staff also gave hours of their own time and labor to the construction of the Habitat home. In addition, Carol continues to sponsor the annual Carol Harris Staffing Walk, Run, Ride for Habitat for Humanity. This event has raised an impressive $30,000 for each year Carol has provided sponsorship!
